Troppo Art Mart 2019

2019 sees the first Troppo Art Mart, lead by artists from the Printing Installation Travel Society. 15 artists, printers, publishers and designers come together to create a hybrid art installation/market event, where visitors move through an expanded version of ‘practise and craft’ presented in a mind expanding format.

Sponsored by Bodriggy Brewery and 3RRR Radio. The inaugural Troppo Art Mart comes to life at Backwoods Gallery this September, in a hybrid event that is part-exhibition, part-installation, and part-art market.

Troppo Art Mart will feature visual artists, ceramicists, fashion designers, printmakers, self-publishers and bookmakers from local and international shores. All of the featured artists bend the ‘high’ vs. ‘low’ art line: their works are a high calibre combo of colourful, weird and wonderful, without compromising on fine art quality and ethical values

The lineup includes The Archivist (Thailand), Krack Studio (Indonesia), OK Books (Melbourne), Matt Sanders (Melbourne), Ryan Hancock (Sydney), Spooky Books (Melbourne), Sam O Farrell (Melbourne), O.Z.O (Sydney), To Barwyn and Back (Melbourne), Planet Destroy (Melbourne), and Troppo Print Studio (Melbourne

Join us for the opening night on Friday September 13 from 6- 10pm with tunes from Flashback Rave and other local performers. Bodriggy Brewing Co. Continuing Saturday 14th 10AM-7PM and Sunday 11AM-6PM.
